Frequently Asked Questions:
What are Interactive Virtual Tours?
Interactive Virtual
Tours are images that rotate 360 degrees. The viewer can control the image
using their computer's mouse. They can pan left and right, and up and
down. They can also zoom in and out. Virtual Tours give your clients
the sense of being there, standing within the scene. This is especially
valuable when you are showcasing features such as vaulted ceilings and
intricate flooring.

What if I can't see your Virtual Tours?
Chances are you have AdWare on
your PC. In addition to being annoying, AdWare can interfere with your web
experience…. including viewing Virtual Tours. Our recommendation is to
download FREE Anti-AdWare software. Our personal favorite is
Spybot - Search & Destroy.
So, if you can't see
our tours, please check for (and remove) any AdWare software. You'll be
glad you did! ....... (And so will we.)

What are e-Brochures?
View
Virtually offers 2 different types of
Interactive Electronic Brochures. You can choose to have a brochure that
simulates your website. All that is required to view this brochure is a
web browser. No internet connection is required.
The 2nd type of Interactive Electronic Brochure is created in Adobe PDF format.
This choice is best if you want your electronic brochure to closely
resemble your print brochures. To view this brochure, the user must have
Adobe Reader 6 or greater on their computer. Adobe Reader is available as
a free download and it's easy to provide a link to Adobe in your brochure.
Both types of Interactive Electronic Brochures
enable you to deliver media-rich content on demand
electronically. Either brochure can contain Virtual Tours and full motion video,
just like CD ROM presentations. Email your e-Brochure as a PDF attachment, distribute it on a CD
ROM and make it available on your website where your customers can
download it 24/7. See our sample media here.

How can I use Virtual Reality Panoramas and Virtual
Tours?
In addition to hosting your virtual reality
panoramas and tours on your website (or hosted on ours), you can also incorporate
them into your marketing campaign through Email, newsletters and
electronic brochures. You can also
distribute them on CD ROMs including CD ROM business cards.

What are "Hot-Spots"?
Some Virtual Tours are a series of
individual tours that are linked together to create a comprehensive
interactive experience. “Hot-spots” allow your client to move from
one room to the next, thereby, taking a virtual tour. Your Virtual
Tour can be branded with your logo, fonts & color schemes.

Do I need special software?
We
create all of our tours as QuickTime movies. This is the easiest and most
user friendly method of distributing interactive media. We create our
tours in multiple resolutions to accommodate both broadband and dial-up
users. Your feedback is important to us and we will work with you to
identify the resolution most appropriate to meet your needs as well as
those of your clients.
If desired, we can provide a small Java Applet
program called PTViewer with our virtual reality images. This enables them
to play on all popular web browsers. Java viewers download automatically
as the image is being loaded. These viewers stay in the computer's cache
memory until the session is over. This eliminates the need for a manual
download or installation. Java works well with any kind of computer,
including PC, Mac, Lynix, and Unix. The vast majority of web browsers are
Java friendly.

What is QuickTime VR?
QuickTime is Apple Computer's
multimedia technology for playing digital media. It works on both Mac and
PC computers. QuickTime comes preinstalled on all Mac computers, and is
offered free to PC users as a simple download. The download includes the
QuickTime Plug-in, which extends the capability of your web browser to
view QuickTime VR movies. We offer QuickTime versions of our images when a
higher quality, higher resolution is preferred. By offering your clients
both a Java and a QuickTime version of your tours, you can allow your user
to decide.
